Review and adjust team assignments
Auto-balancing gets you most of the way. Then you read the board and make the handful of tweaks only you know about. The key idea: lock what you like, re-balance the rest.
Read the board
Roster Builder lays out one column per team, with the Unassigned column pinned on the left. Anyone in Unassigned still needs a home.
Each player card shows:
- The player's name.
- An experience marker (e1 through e5).
- A g for girls.
- Their available nights.
- A warning badge if a request or night couldn't be met.
The line under the header recaps the last run: when it ran, how many moves it made, and how many players were unsatisfied or pooled.
Move a player
- Click move on the player's card.
- Pick a team, or pick Unassigned pool to set them aside.
Drop a player to the pool when their practice night stops working, then place them by hand or re-balance later.
Lock a player in place
Click the lock toggle on a card. An open circle means unlocked; the padlock means locked.
Locked players do not move when you re-balance. The builder works around them and still counts them in the size and skill math. Lock the assignments you've hand-tuned so a later run can't undo them.
Re-balance after a late coach or new signups
Just click Balance teams again. Only unlocked players move. Everything you locked stays exactly as it is. That's how you add a late team or absorb new registrants without blowing up the rosters you already settled.
